As Reported, ARMY Has Recently Tipped #InvestigateSpotify Trending After Finding That Most of Their BTS Song Streams Have Been Filtered And Not Counted On Spotify.

Columbia Records Executive Vice President has responded to ARMY's voice regarding the issue of BTS (Bangtan Boys) streaming numbers recently. Previously, ARMY expressed suspicion that their idol group's streaming numbers were not accurately reflected.

As reported, ARMY recently trended the hashtag #InvestigateSpotify after discovering that most of their BTS song streams have been filtered and not counted on Spotify. According to data found at BHF Data Analytics, 47% of streams don't count for "Butter" while 38% don't count for "Dynamite."

Of course, this is a big concern for fans. With demands for transparency increasing, fans have contacted various authorities in the music industry, including Peter Gray, Executive Vice President of Columbia Records.

In a post shared by @chartbangtan, Gray responded via DM (Direct Mesaage) on Instagram that the company is having a "high level conversation" with all streaming platforms about the matter.

Peter Gray wrote in the DM, "Not at all inconvenient. Always great to hear from you. We are having high-level conversations with all the streaming services about the filtering rules. We are clearly watching them. Just wait and continue your amazing work."

Meanwhile, the single "Butter" is believed to be topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Competition for first place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart is tough with popular singers releasing new music on May 14 and 21.

BTS's rivals are Katy Perry, Migos, Lil Nas X, Pink, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and several others. Even so, seeing the temporary gain of the single "Butter," BTS is believed to still be able to beat them all and topped the chart. (wk/goddess)
