ARMY or BTS fans flocked to donate their money for online motorcycle taxi drivers.
Currently, the Indonesian people are being shocked by the news of ojol drivers snaking to queue at McDonald's restaurants, in order to order the BTS Meal menu.
Not a few McDonald's outlets had to be forced to close by the local government, because they were considered to have violated health protocols after causing a crowd of people.
As a form of appreciation for the ojol drivers, ARMYs previously raised the hashtag #ThankYouOJOL to be included in the list of trending topics on Twitter.
Not only raising hashtags on Twitter, through the Kitabisa platform, the BTS ARMY Indonesia fanbase account recently held a fundraiser to celebrate BTS's debut anniversary and also the release of BTS Meal at McDonald's restaurants.
The fundraising is intended for ojol drivers who have struggled and are willing to queue to get orders for BTS Meal from ARMYs.
As of the writing of this article, the total donations for the fundraiser have reached 70 million Rupiah, which came from more than 2.7 thousand donors.
The fundraiser will be open until June 13, which coincides with BTS's debut anniversary celebration. (www.kpopchart.net)
