Passing Censorship, KBS Call BTS's 'Butter' Song Until Aespa's 'Next Level' Is Safe To Broadcast

In the near future, there'll be several K-Pop idols who will make comebacks by releasing their latest songs.


But before being broadcast or broadcast on National TV, the songs of K-Pop idols must first undergo a due diligence by KBS.

On Tuesday (18/05) afternoon KST, KBS released their review data of music which will be released soon.

Among the songs are BTS's newest single 'Butter' and aespa's 'Next Level'. There also are three new EVERGLOW songs also as all the songs on Ailee's pre-release album “LOVIN” that have passed and are confirmed as eligible for broadcast.

From the info released by KBS, it had been also revealed that BTS's leader, RM took part within the making of the song "Butter" along side several producers, namely Jenna Andrews, Rob Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, Alex Bilowitz, Sebastian Garcia, and Ron Perry.

The line-up of the producers is that the same composer who also handled the boy group's first English song also as their hottest song, 'Dynamite'.

Meanwhile, aespa who made his first comeback on May 17th with the song “Next Level” also passed the censorship. it had been revealed that this aespa comeback song was worked on by a producer and songwriter for various artists at SM Entertainment, namely Yoo Young Jin, along side Mario Marchetti, Adam McInnis and Sophie Curtis.
