Miyawaki Sakura Announced Graduated From HKT48 Immediately Becomes Gossip

Earlier this year, Miyawaki Sakura was reportedly preparing to sign a contract with HYBE (originally Big Hit Entertainment) after the disbandment of IZ * ONE.

Miyawaki Sakura has now returned to Japan after IZ * ONE officially disbanded. Shortly after his return, local media reported that the beautiful idol would leave the HKT48 group after 10 years of joining.

Finally on Saturday (15/5), HKT48 officially stated that Miyawaki Sakura would graduate from the group. This decision was taken purely at the request of the idol born in 1998 itself.

"HKT48 KIV Sakura Miyawaki Team Graduation Announcement. Thank you very much for your continued support for HKT48. While streaming, Miyawaki Sakura has requested her graduation during today's live broadcast," wrote HKT48.

"This is an official announcement about his graduation. Miyawaki Sakura will complete his involvement in HKT48 at his graduation concert, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 19," continued HKT48.

"We apologize for the sudden news, but we hope you understand. Details of the graduation concert will be released soon after this release. Pelase is waiting for further information," added HKT48.

"We want to thank all fans and all parties involved who have supported Miyawaki Sakura during her 10 years of activity starting in 2011 as a member of the first generation group HKT48, then AKB48 senbatsu members, and IZ * ONE members," added HKT48.

"We respectfully ask for your warm support for Sakura Miyawaki until the day of her graduation. HKT48 Management Office," concluded the HKT48. The announcement of Miyawaki Sakura's graduation immediately became a source of gossip for South Korean netizens. "He joined HKT since 2011, so it's no wonder he announced his graduation," wrote one netizen.

"Sakura, congratulations on your graduation and I wish you a happy future!" another connect. "Will he join a Korean girl group like Juri?" said another. "He has experienced the Korean idol system for two years, so it is difficult for him to return to the Japanese idol system," concluded another netizen.

Meanwhile, Miyawaki Sakura was reportedly preparing to sign a contract with HYBE (originally Big Hit Entertainment) following the disbandment of IZ * ONE. However the agency stated at the time, "Nothing has been decided yet." (wk / charity)
