On the same occasion, it was stated that many fans did not expect that the song came from two members of the hip hop unit. Mingyu expressed that he didn't want to focus on one genre, instead the two wanted to find a musical color that suited them.

"I don't think we have to go in a certain direction or show something completely different from the previous SEVENTEEN style. We just think about the kind of genre that suits our vocals and our overall style. Naturally we are starting to move towards this (bossa nova)," said Mingyu.

Next they explained the reasons for inviting Lee Hi to collaborate on the song. Regarding that, Wonwoo replied, "For me personally, as soon as we made the top vocal line, Lee Hi was the first female vocalist that came to mind. I knew her voice would complement this song, so we contacted her first, she agreed, and that's how we ended up working together. "

Lee Hi is the first candidate they think of after their song composition is finished. Not only that, Lee Hi can help them direct their songs to the bossa nova genre as desired.

As is known, Wonwoo and Mingyu are part of the rap unit SEVENTEEN along with S.Coups and Vernon. Since their debut in 2015, SEVENTEEN has been known as idols who produce their own albums. So since the beginning they have been equipped with the ability to compose songs. (wk / wahy)
