After a long absence from the entertainment world, Ku Hye Sun will soon return to work. He will be involved in a film project for the first time after divorcing Ahn Jae Hyun in 2019.
On Monday (17/5), Go Hye Sun will reportedly return with the film "Dark Yellow". Not only acting, the beautiful actress will also act as the screenwriter and director of the film. The plan, shooting will begin next June.
"Dark Yellow" tells the story of a woman who works in a yellow flower shop and is attacked by a stranger for her privacy. Based on the synopsis on his Instagram account, Ku Hye Sun revealed that the film is a horror melodrama that highlights women's fears of being physically controlled and controlled.
The project that marks Ku Hye Sun's return is apparently a fundraising movement on the Wadiz platform, where the filming process will be shared with the public. Those who support the film will receive behind-the-scenes merchandise and products from the production process and a chance to attend the film premiere.
Regarding that, Ku Hye Sun said, "I hope this project in collaboration with Wadiz will be an opportunity for us to communicate with fans, supporters and viewers."
Ku Hye Sun's agency MIMI Entertainment added, "We hope that 'Dark Yellow' will become a meeting place for viewers. We will focus on sharing the production process and open up space to discuss the results, as well as promotions for the project."
Additionally, the initial fundraising will start on May 17th. Meanwhile, the campaign will officially take place from May 31 to June 30.
Meanwhile, "Dark Yellow" is Ku Hye Sun's first film since 2017. The last time she participated in director Jung Yoon Chul's short film entitled "Father's Sword". Previously, he has been active as a director since 2009 by making several short and long films that have been screened at a number of film festivals.
