After being invaded by BTS fans, this Korean cosmetic brand decided to cancel their patent application under the name "Borahae".

On Monday (31/05), through its official website, the LALALEE's brand shared an announcement as well as an apology for causing concern among BTS fans.

Here is the contents of the LALALEE's statement:

“Last September 2020, our company requested the copyright for the term 'BORAHAE', and we sincerely apologize to the fans who love BTS for causing concern.

Our company has decided to give up the copyright on the term for further K-Pop development and we will take action as soon as possible.

In the future, as Korean people, we wish BTS the best of luck in the future of their efforts in spreading K-Pop to the world. "

Previously the company was known to have registered a patent for the term 'Borahae', which was later protested by ARMY (as BTS fans) because the term was believed to have been made by V to refer to the last color of the rainbow, purple, which means that the group and fans will love each other until end.
