ITZY is known for their explosive choreography that never fails to impress. But such hard choreography can end up weighing down their bodies. The group returned with a louder choreography with each comeback and recently talked about the impact of their heavy routine on their bodies.

ITZY recently made a comeback with the song "M.A.F.I.A In The Morning". As part of their comeback promotions, the group appeared on KBS Cool FM Music Plaza Jung Eun Ji, a radio show hosted by Apink's Eun Ji, where they were asked about their intense dancing routine for this comeback.

"I'm really curious about this. You guys have to practice dancing a lot, right? Is there any member whose knees and hips hurt so much? I'm worried. Who is this? Who's having a hard time lately?" asked Eun Ji.

Shin Ryujin then revealed that even though they all suffered from bad knees, there were two members who suffered the most, Lia and Chaeryeong. "Our team members have very bad knees. Even though we all are not very good, Lia and Chaeryeong have the worst knees," he continued.

He then talked about their choreography for "M.A.F.I.A In The Morning". They cover the chorus part where the three members kneel while the other two remain standing, advancing to the beat with their hands in front of their faces.

Ryujin revealed that because Lia and Chaeryeong's knees were so bad, they ended up having to do the choreography while standing up. This made Yeji, Shin Yuna, and Ryujin kneel for it themselves. "So, just me, Yeji, and Yuna, the three of us did the choreography using our knees," Ryujin replied.

Eunji then asked about their final pose for this song, and while pointing out that Lia was kneeling for the part, asked how she could handle the pain for that part. Lia shared that sometimes she didn't have a choice, and it was one of those moments where she had to kneel down for routine.

"It can't be avoided, so I have to use my knees. Actually, in the choreography, we have to use the knees a lot," said Lia.

Chaeryeong shared how sorry she was to her members. He also thanked them for taking on the weight of using their knees for the choreography.

"Actually, I feel very sorry for the members. The dance really requires so much energy, and the movements really hurt the knees. They were very attentive. Initially, the five of us should have done this dance move together," said Chaeryeong. (wk / daughter)
