Former BTOB member Ilhoon today listened to charges for the purchase and use of marijuana he faced.
On Thursday (20/05), the Seoul Central District Court held a second trial of the purchase and use of marijuana that dragged the name of the ex-BTOB idol Ilhoon.
But not alone, Ilhoon was also charged along with 7 other defendants who are undergoing trials related to this case.
Through the trial, the prosecutors stated that they asked the defendant (Ilhoon) to be given a 4 year prison sentence, with an initial fine of 133 million Won (approximately 1.689 billion Rupiah) and the confiscation of all illegal material owned by idols.
Meanwhile, the other defendants who were present with Ilhoon were charged with sentences of 3 to 1.5 years in prison.
Ilhoon's lawyer later stated, “He is currently reflecting deep into his bones. She is overcome with fear as she faces the police investigation, indictment, and the first trial of law in her life. Because he started in the entertainment industry at an early age, he suffered from severe stress. He's trying to relieve that stress by making wrong choices or using illegal marijuana. "
