Even though it is still nearing its debut, the boy group from Spire Entertainment, Omega X has won the trust to become an honorary ambassador for Jeju Island.
This has been confirmed by their agency, Spire Entertainment on May 10, 2021, wherein Omega X received an agreement message from the Jeju Tourism Association in the morning.
The President of the Jeju Tourism Association congratulated all Omega X members who will promote various aspects of Jeju Island.
Over the next two years, Omega X will carry out promotional activities to raise awareness of Jeju Island and its natural attractions. “Jeju Island hosts 3 UNESCO natural heritage sites. We will do our best to promote Jeju Island and all its beauty to the world with our music and performances, ”said Omega X in their ambassador's acceptance speech.
Meanwhile, Omega X is an 11-member boy group that will debut next month. Omega (Ω), the last letter of the Greek alphabet, means new beginnings and dreams, while the alphabet 'X' denotes infinite love and hope, symbolizing the members' desire to stay with fans from start to finish.
