At the same time, he and his fellow BLACKPINK members were welcomed to give their input on their previous works. "But in the past when we were preparing all of our music, we were all in the process (in other ways), so it wasn't too new for me," continued Rose.

Overall it was a nice experience for him. "It's very nice to convey my opinion and thoughts," he said. Because he can add his personal touch to the album, it becomes a record that reflects him as a person.

"I think that's the reason why the final product sounds like me. That's also the reason (we felt) so confident about it when it was released," he said.

Rose isn't the only BLACKPINK member credited as a songwriter. Jennie and Jisoo previously worked on the Album's title song, "Lovesick Girls" with other professional musicians. No wonder BLACKPINK members really understand the meaning and meaning of their songs.

On the other hand, Rose is now the first female artist in 19 years to sell half a million albums. Her cumulative album sales to date have counted more than 500,000 copies.
