Hoshi Seventeen (II) is in the spotlight after releasing the mixtape "Spider". Recently, the versatile idol showed off his charisma in a photo shoot for Esquire magazine.
During the interview, Hoshi talked about Seventeen and his current lifestyle changes. The owner's real name Kwon Soon Young revealed that lately he often goes to sports to pass the time.
Then Hoshi mentioned that he was driven to exercise regularly because of Baekho NU'EST. He said, "Baekho really likes exercising, and one day suddenly he asked me to work out with him. I just followed him and that was two years ago."
Not only that, Hoshi is also doing pilates because he feels a bit stiff lately. The Seventeen main dancer exercised so hard that his hands were calloused and was actually proud of it. He mentions that he goes to the gym about 340 days a year.
When asked what other activities besides exercising are, Hoshi replied, "It's not an interesting answer, but I just go to the gym and practice room."
Hoshi mentioned that he and the choreographer and backing dancers often have fun sharing dance moves. The 1996-born singer added, "The time spent discussing and digesting dance and music in me is very precious and enjoyable."
Furthermore, Hoshi stated that the secret to Seventeen's mesmerizing dances is practice. In addition, they showed that their chemistry was great because they had worked together for more than 10 years. In regards to that, Hoshi revealed, "I think Seventeen is like a choreography. We only shine when we dance as 13 members."
Meanwhile, the head of the performance team leaked their comeback plans this year. Hoshi also revealed that currently Woozi is producing songs carefully. (wk / wahy)
