'LUCA' is Prepared to Replace the 'Awaken' Show Slot on Monday - Tuesday Night TvN. The plan, the drama that was worked on by the director of 'Voice' will start airing on February 1.
On Wednesday (27/1), the "LUCA" production team held an online press conference which was attended by the director and the cast, including Kim Rae Won and Lee Da Hee. On this occasion, the two of them discussed the romance story of their characters, Ji Oh and Gu Reum.
Kim Rae Won, who is known as a romance drama expert, is anticipating a romantic scene with Lee Da Hee. Unfortunately, their romance did not go smoothly, which made Kim Rae Won frustrated.
"There is a story about the destined love of the character Lee Da Hee. It would be better if they (characters) can quickly meet and share feelings honestly, but they cannot speak frankly, so as an actor I also feel frustrated," said Kim. Rae Won.
Lee Da Hee chimed in, "Our romance is when they are so close but not very touching, which is that there is a feeling of despair but they can't meet. That part is not annoying, but it's sad to see. That's why I called it the previous adult romance," "
The two also discussed chemistry with each other which is quite strong. "Regarding emotional portrayals, I talked a lot with Kim Rae Won and we tried to bring it to life. Thanks to him, I was able to act while following him," explained Lee Da Hee.
Kim Rae Won also returned the compliment, "Lee Da Hee is really amazing. I was really surprised. She is passionate and also really great. She must have been hurt here and there during filming, but she didn't let it go and continued to work hard."
Meanwhile, “LUCA” is an action thriller drama about a man named Ji Oh (Kim Rae Won) who is being chased because of his special abilities. On the other hand there is a detective named Gu Reum (Lee Da Hee) who is the only person who remembers him.
