Today, Wednesday (13/3), Korean media The Asia Business Daily reports that D.O. EXO left SM Entertainment. The 1993-born singer and actor reportedly became the only EXO member who did not renew the contract.
Shortly after the news was published, SM Entertainment immediately released a statement. The agency which also houses Red Velvet and the NCT denied all rumors that the D.O. will leave the agency.
"The news was completely wrong. We will release an official statement soon," said the SM Entertainment representative on Wednesday (13/3). Another SM representative stated, "There is still time left before EXO's contract runs out."
On the other hand before SM gave a rebuttal, many netizens were shocked by the news of D.O. leave the agency. They regret if the news is true.
