Rain Feeling Proud Of BTS Because Of This.

Not long ago, Rain conducted an interview in order to promote his new film entitled "Uhm Bok Dong". Interestingly in this interview, Rain also talked about the popularity of Bangtan Boys.

Previously, Rain was described as a world star after working in Korea and abroad as an actor and singer. He then discussed about BTS that are known to have promoted Korean culture and music to the world through their songs.

"People called me a world star at the time because it was an unprecedented phenomenon, but I thought it was excessive," he said. "I think all Koreans who currently work abroad need to be applauded."

Rain then explained the reason why he should feel proud of the Koreans who work abroad. Because indirectly they have spread Korean culture throughout the world.

"Because of them, people in other countries learn about Korean culture and language. When I tour abroad in the past, I have to do Q & A in English," Rain said. "But now when I ask in Korean, fans understand everything and respond. They learn through YouTube because of the influence of K-Pop singers, Korean actors and other Korean content."

Because of that, Rain feels very proud of BTS and Twice. He also said that he had discussed this several times with PSY.

"In that case, BTS is really great and extraordinary. I also think that other people, including Twice, need to be better known from now on," he continued. "Sometimes I meet PSY and say I'm very happy. PSY and I are both producing (new artists, agency owners). If groups like BTS and Twice do well now, then bigger stars will be born in the future. I think it's a good phenomenon. "

Meanwhile, Rain will make a comeback with his appearance on the big screen "Uhm Bok Dong". The film itself is inspired by the true story of a cyclist who won first place in a bicycle race in the Japanese colonial era.
