Turning to YouTuber, After School's Raina Satirical - Long time invisible, Raina seems to have a new activity besides being an idol. After School members and Orange Caramel subunits with Nana and Lizzy secretly opened the YouTube channel, aka swerved into YouTuber.
Raina uploaded the first video as an introduction to the audience. Pledis Entertainment's idol revealed the reason for opening a YouTube channel. He claimed he would continue to greet fans through videos with various content such as music, just chatting, lifestyle, cooking tips and others.
"Actually I haven't been too busy lately. So I have a lot of free time, which makes me think about many things in my absence. And then one day, it feels like my daily life is very boring. In some ways, a career as a celebrity meaning that if you don't have a project, you're unemployed, so I think (joining YouTube) might help me get more excited and make me try exciting things, "Raina said.
Raina's decision to become a YouTuber naturally got a lot of comments from the netter. Many who insinuated him were not selling as idols anymore. Others say that celebrity status is not guaranteed Raina will quickly become popular on YouTube.
"Looks like the trend of celebrities opening up the fried chicken business has changed to the YouTube channel," commented Netter. "Obviously he has been very desperate. Why also celebrities open YouTube channels if not for not getting a project at all. YouTube is not an easy place, good luck," added another netter.
"Maybe there is no place that wants him. Just because you are a celebrity is not a guarantee that you will get many subscribers. Especially if your video content is not interesting. No one will watch other than your own fans," said the other. "He used to be beautiful, now looks old," said another.
